Step Right Up and Search for Absent Aaron!

Step right up Step right up and behold the only attraction nobody has actually beheld!

Last seen responding “Sounds good” to a meeting invitation three weeks ago, Absent Aaron remains one of the Workplace Circus’s most elusive attractions. His laptop is open. His status light is green. His chair is still warm.

Aaron, however, is nowhere to be found.

Search parties have checked the break room, the parking lot, the wellness room, and every calendar block marked FOCUS TIME. Investigators have uncovered several clues: an untouched notebook, a half-finished coffee, and an out-of-office reply claiming Aaron will return on a date that has already passed.

It was not always this way.

Aaron once stood as a shining example of healthy work-life balance. He took his breaks. He used his vacation days. He understood that “urgent” was often just a word people used when they had forgotten to plan.

Coworkers admired him.

Then Aaron made a remarkable discovery: reduced visibility often leads to reduced responsibility.

Lunch became an expedition. Appointments developed sequels. A simple camera-off meeting allowed Aaron to attend from the car, the dentist, a walking trail, or—according to one witness—a kayak.

His calendar is now a fortress of overlapping holds, private events, and recurring blocks labeled only BUSY.

Do not mistake Aaron’s disappearance for laziness. He is a master of boundaries, a defender of personal time, and living proof that the company will survive without an immediate reply.

The trouble is, there is no reply.

So keep searching, folks!
